Coaching
“It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.”
Leon C. Megginson
Would you like to be able to be most responsive to change? Maybe, you would like to participate in the process of change in a curious and positive manner? Maybe, you would even like to bring change about and implement it?
Coaching is a powerful tool for change. Your will to change something is the best prerequisite for successful coaching.
You are the center of our co-operation; you with your challenges and wishes. You are the expert of your topics and questions.
I function as your catalyst and support you on the process level to achieve your goals. Together we define your current situation and questions. We discover your resources and potential that you carry inside of you. We unlock answers, options and work out solutions to achieve best possible results for you and your future. You are in charge for your solutions and their development.
Adding a healthy curiosity, compassion as well as a good sense of humour, I make sure that we will have fun in our co-operation.
In my work as a coach, I use a holistic approach of
elements and interventions from:
Coaching phases
Naturally, every coaching is individual and different. Generally, we can divide the whole coaching process into 3 phases:
I. Clarifying and signing of the contract
In the first phase of the coaching process, we are going to clarify your request, topics, wishes and goals; and we will check whether our chemistry is right. Only then we will define the framework and finalise the coaching contract.
II. The coaching session
Now, the actual coaching sessions start. You can divide each of them into 4 phases:
1. Contact and
orientation
Similar to the first phase of the coaching process, only less comprehensive, we will
establish orientation – clarify your request, will and commitment – give consent.
2. Now and then
Clarifying your current situation and your concerns. Formulating your goals: positive and SMART; including an ecology check (Does your desired change agrees with and improves your current situation in life; or does it create even more problems, irritations, or does it even exacerbate a crisis?). Defining KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
3. Solutions
Gathering resources, options, alternatives and ideas to develop solutions.
4. Integration
Implement and integrate your solutions into practise into your everyday life, including ecology check.
III. Conclusion
The third phase is about evaluating the coaching. At the end of every coaching process – in case the coaching process lasts longer than 6 sessions, after every 4th or 5th session, as well as at the end – we will reflect give feedback and analyse the the whole coaching process. Has the coaching achieved its goals and the desired outcome?
